Decorative Edwardian Cast Iron Fire Insert / Grate

An early 1900’s original cast iron fire insert. Its whole cast iron body is raw and has never been blackened before ( or painted ). Its presentation is very neat and tidy. It could be reinstalled exactly as is right now. The main decorative hood on the front of the fire insert is solid cast iron. Each side of the fire insert has tiles. All the tiles are original and have that unique crackle look in the glaze. They look fantastic! It also comes with its original cast iron draught flap which opens and closes smoothly.
